Late maturing intermediate day brown onion
Large bulbs, firm and globe-shaped and have a small root plate and thin neck. Bulbs are pungent yet very flavourful. Great yield potential. Thick, brown paper coating makes this an excellent storage onion.
Direct sowing is in August or, where seedlings are used, the seed should be sown at the end of April to the beginning of May. Transplanting will then be done in the first half of August. 100 days Avg. 23,300 seeds/100
